Trio sign for Mallards

Harry McConkey has made a further 3 signings to his squad ahead of the start of the new season in October. Dean Curry, Ryan Morrow and Niall Grace all join the Mallards having guested in recent friendly games.

“I’m delighted that we have made 3 strong additions to our squad for the season ahead. All 3 players will add something different and come with plenty of experience under their belts” boasted the first team manager.

Curry is a 25 year old left sided central defender who Captained Institute in the Premier League last season and previously played for Newbuildings.

Morrow is a right back who also played in the Premier League last season for ‘Stute and he showed his excellent defensive qualities on Saturday past.

Midfielder Grace has also agreed to join from his current club Bonagee FC once he plays his last few games for them. The 27 year old has previously played for Institute, Cliftonville and Glenavon.

“We are now well into pre-season and so far I am very pleased at the calibre of players who want to join with us and face the challenges we have ahead. We must keep growing as a squad as we all know how ultra-competitive a league the Championship is and these additions will help us to achieve our goals on that journey”
