Unfortunately it's another poor day at the office for the Mallards who remain bottom of the Bluefin Sport Championship after 11 matches. Kevin Braniff netted two in the first half and completed his hat trick in the second, with Ryan Carmichael getting the other 2 before half time. We return to Ferney Park next Saturday to play H&W Welders.
10 man Ballinamallard progressed into the semi finals but the scoreline wasn't as flattering as it first appears. Both sides had chances before Captain for the night, Ross Taheny, headed the hosts infront unchallenged on 14 minutes. The second arrived 10 minutes before half time with Duwayne McManus finishing off a classy counter attack involving Robb and Arkinson - a fine team goal.
