An early first half brace from Matthew Shevlin secured victory for Ballymena and their place in the top 6. That result means that the Mallards will have 3 post split games at home, starting with Carrick Rangers on Tuesday 3rd (7.45pm).
Sean Noble's last minute equaliser gave the Mallards a deserved point on Harry McConkey's return to Ferney Park. After a scoreless first half, Ryan Curran put the home side in front, flicking Noble's pacy cross past Alex Moore. The tables turned however with Mark Stafford heading Linfield level before Andrew Waterworth scored from the penalty spot. Things got worse for Ballinamallard when Joshua McIlwaine was shown a straight red card by Lee Tavinder, minutes after taking to

Ballinamallard United FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Harry McConkey as First Team Manager with immediate effect. McConkey is no stranger to Ferney Park, nor the Irish League, and has vast experience of the local game. In Whitey Anderson's final year at the club, Steve began coaching the first team and he continu

A disasterous first half for the Mallards gave Ards some of the easiest points they'll gain this season. On loan Linfield player Ross Clarke netted twice and set up Calum Byers for a third all within the half hour. Clarke then notched up his hat trick in the second half with a free kick, which seen Ballinamallard's Ryan O'Reilly sent off for a second yellow card.
