Glynn remains with Ballinamallard

With the hours ticking down to the transfer deadline, Harry McConkey has secured youngster Michael Glynn's services for the season ahead. The Academy product has shown his excellent athleticism and quality on the left hand side of the pitch whilst he also also displayed his versatility by featuring at left back, left wing back, centre midfield and centre defence in pre-season. "Michael knows that he will have to fight for his place in the starting eleven but he is not daunted by that challenge and that is music to my ears!" praised McConkey. "He is ready to fully commit to Ballinamallard for this season and give of his best, and we wish him every success".

2 players test positive for COVID-19

Ballinamallard United FC wish to confirm that two players have tested positive for Covid-19. The players are within two different squads at the club and both had not been in attendance at the Club facilities for some time, in the first instance it was over a week and the second case was almost a week prior to their positive test result. On receiving the information of a positive case the Club immediately contacted the Public Health Agency (PHA) for advice and guidance. The Club has implemented the PHA advice that it received. Reserves make support parcel deliveries

Back in June our Reserves completed a ‘5k a day’ to raise money towards helping the elderly and vulnerable in the local community. From those very generous monetary donations, this afternoon several of the players and coaching staff visited homes to deliver support parcels to those in need. “In these difficult social times like we have experienced over the last 6-7 months - we as a team wanted to try and support our local community in whatever way we could” commented Reserves manager Darren Higginbotham. “I want to thank the staff at Beattys Spar and Roulstons Centra for putting the packs together.
