McConkey returns to the Ducks

Ballinamallard United FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Harry McConkey as First Team Manager with immediate effect.

McConkey is no stranger to Ferney Park, nor the Irish League, and has vast experience of the local game. He has represented the Mallards both as a player and a manager, and brought the first Irish League Title to County Fermanagh in 2003 when he won the Second Division title.

Harry has previously managerial experience with Dergview and the Northern Ireland Junior International Team, with whom he won the Umbro Quadrangular Tournament with in October 2017 and he holds a UEFA Pro Licence.

He remains enthusiastic about the challenge ahead and was at training tonight to speak with the players as Ballinamallard fight to remain in the Premier League with 8 games remaining. He will take charge on Saturday for our match away to Glenavon FC, assisted by Brian and Andy.
