Ballinamallard 4-1 Ardstraw

10 man Ballinamallard progressed into the semi finals but the scoreline wasn't as flattering as it first appears.

Both sides had chances before Captain for the night, Ross Taheny, headed the hosts infront unchallenged on 14 minutes.

The second arrived 10 minutes before half time with Duwayne McManus finishing off a classy counter attack involving Robb and Arkinson - a fine team goal.

Joshua McIlwaine then hit the bar before David Elliott netted a third before the interval. It all seemed like plain sailing but on the stroke of half time Paul Fusco tapped in from close range to pull a goal back for the visitors and they wasted another chance after that too!

The Tyrone side picked up where they left off and were awarded a penalty after Matthew Smyth had fouled Robbie Godfrey; an offence that seen the Mallard defender given his marching orders. Godfrey couldn't take advantage though and hit the base of the post.

Sam Robb scored a fourth from close range to ease the tension with 10 minutes to go.
