It was another Friday night goalfest at Ferney Park, but unfortunately the Mallards came out the wrong side of this result.
After both sides had hit the woodwork, it was the home side took the lead on 33 minutes. Jonny Leddy was fouled in the penalty area and Ryan Curran scored from the spot.
Coleraine responded with a quick fire double to take the lead with Carson and McCauley both scoring before the Mallards equalised again on the stroke of half time. O'Flynn was fouled this time and again Curran again scored from the spot.
The Bannsiders were dominant in the second half and took the lead within a minute when Eoin Bradley flicked a freekick into the net.
Bradley then scored another, having initially won a dubious free kick, by curling the ball over the wall for 4-2; a fine free kick.
Substitute Aaron Burns netted a fifth with one of his first few touches to score a debut goal.
