Ballinamallard 6-4 Cliftonville
Ballinamallard United collected a crucial three points after hitting six goals past Cliftonville in a sensational game at Ferney Park.
The Mallards moved in front on 13 minutes through a Ryan Curran finish into the top corner after Sean Noble did well to cross the ball from the right.
Noble added a second eight minutes later when Stephen O'Flynn delivered the ball forward from inside his own half before Jay Donnelly pulled one back for the visitors after the ball fell for him from a blocked Ross Lavery effort.
Gavin Dykes' side restored their two-goal advantage on the half-hour when a Levi Ives error on the right allowed O'Flynn through to beat Brian Neeson.
And it was 4-1 very early in the second half with Curran's second of the night, scored from the spot after Garry Breen had upended Noble.
Cliftonville staged something of a revival after this. Lavery got on the end of a Jude Winchester pass on 50 minutes before Joe Gormley went one-on-one to beat Richard Brush five minutes after that.
However, the scoring was far from over! James McKenna made it 5-3 to the Mallards with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining with a shot into the bottom corner from outside the box.
Then, three minutes after that, Gormley clawed back another for the Reds after collecting the ball with his back to goal before turning to fire a half volley past Brush.
But the Mallards held on to claim the points and, indeed, added a sixth goal deep into stoppage time when substitute Jonathan Leddy chipped the ball over Neeson from the halfway line!
