Warrenpoint Town 0-1 Ballinamallard

A valient effort from the Mallards who pushed their opponents all the way, having played the final 25 minutes with 10 men.

In the first few minutes of the match Stephen Moan cleared off the line whilst Ryan Curran hit the bar with a header mid way through the half. On 39 minutes Conor McMenamin headed the hosts into the lead after a corner wasn't properly cleared.

On 65 minutes Darren Murray slipped in behind the Mallards backline before falling to the turf, and referee Keith Kennedy awarded a foul and sent Ryan O'Reilly for an early bath.

Brush denied the Point a second whilst Curran went close again for the Mallards, who despite having the majority of the second half play, couldn't find the breakthrough.

The U20s had better luck infront of goal with a 5-0 win over Warrenpoint Reserves. Kyle Coalter scored a brace with Quinn, McCrea and Browne each getting one.

Next up is Cliftonville at home on Friday evening.
