Ballinamallard 0-3 Linfield

Three second half goals from David Healy's men sent them into the next round of the Bet McLean League Cup at Ferney Park this evening.

The Mallards produced a confident first half performance and dominated possession for periods, albeit Linfield created the better chances with Richard Brush denying Aaron Burns twice. Stuart Hutchinson headed over the Mallards best chance of the half when well placed.

The away side broke the deadlock on 58 minutes when Linfield's Joshua Robinson headed in Kirk Millar's corner.

The second also came from a corner, with Andrew Waterworth making a scoring return to the team before substitute Jordan Stewart tapped in a third on 78 minutes.

The Mallards now take a short break with our next match on Friday 13th away to Warrenpoint Town.
