Jonathan Leddy joins the club

22 year old Jonathan Leddy has become Gavin Dykes fifth signing of the summer transfer window having impressed whilst on trial over the past month.

The Butler's Bridge native has played in several of our friendly games and his versatility and quality will be no doubt strengthen us for the 2017/18 season.

"Johnny has been on trial with us after a recommendation and he has done well. He gives us options as he can play left back, left side of centre half and in the middle of the pitch and he has impressed me on the ball. He has a bit of quality about him and I'm delighted to have him on board" commented Dykes.

Leddy started his career with Cavan Shamrocks before becoming a trainee at Ipswich Town whilst he has also represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level. He will wear the number 12 shirt for the upcoming Danske Bank Premier League season.
