Portadown gained a third victory over Ballinamallard on Friday evening to help keep their slim relegation hopes alive.

For Ballinamallard, despite the loss, Saturday's results mean that they are now safe from relegation with 3 games remaining.

Stuart Hutchinson hit the bar for the Mallards whilst Curran, McGinty and Mayse all went close to opening the scoring.

Ross Larkin gave Portadown an early second half lead, prodding in at the near post, and despite a siege from Ballinamallard they couldn't find a goal.
