Glenavon 1-0 Ballinamallard

Player/manager Gary Hamilton broke Ballinamallard hearts with a 91st minute winner at Mournview Park on Saturday.

Whitey Anderson's men looked destined for a point but couldn't quite hold on after a relatively even game.

The Mallards came closest in the first half when Ivan Sproule hit the base of the post whilst Fabio O'Brien was denied by Stefan McCusker at the other end.

The home side upped the tempo after the break and went close through Hall and Sykes, but Hamilton popped up with a vital winner to move the Lurgan Blues into third position.

Congratulations also go to 18 year old Ryan Morris who made his first team debut, and to 15 year olf Joshua Brownlee who took a place on the bench.

The Seconds lost out 2-1 to Glenavon Reserves at Ferney Park on Friday evening whilst the Thirds beat title rivals St Oliver Plunkett 2-1.
