Warrenpoint 3-0 Ballinamallard

Warrenpoint recorded their first victory over Ballinamallard this season, and extended their recent good form with 4 wins from 4 and 7 games unbeaten.

That result moves the 'Point to with a point of Carrick, Dungannon and Ballinamallard as the relegation race heats up.

Tiarnan Mulvenna tapped in on the stroke of half time after an initial shot came back off the post, and then immediately after the break, Warrenpoint seized on a defensive mistake and Stephen Murray made no mistake when one on one.

On loan Cliftonville striker Johnny McMurray added a third.

There was better luck for the seconds on Saturday however when they defeated Warrenpoint 4-1 with goals from Andy Little, Jack Thompson, Dylan Edwards and Kuba Klobusek.

The thirds also won and remain top of the Youth League Section B, having defeated bottom side Annagh United 4-0.
