Dergview 2-0 Ballinamallard

The Mallards are still awaiting their first win of the season after this disappointing defeat at Darragh Park tonight.

Paul Smith put the hosts ahead on 15 minutes when he scored directly from a corner and Dergview had another goal ruled out for offside before half time.

Ryan Campbell and Nathan Cashel chalked up the only notable efforts for Ballinamallard but these were comfortably saved by the goalkeeper.

Dergview scored their second on 51 minutes to take a commanding lead - Buchannan heading in a corner from the left.

The Mallards then had a spell of heavy pressure with a header cleared off the goal line and Sean McEvoy seeing three separate attempts saved or blocked whilst Ryan Mortis was also denied.

Harry McConkey will be hoping for better luck infront of goal on Saturday when we travel to Portadown.
