One in, one out

Former NFC Kesh man Nathan Cashel has signed a contract extension with Ballinamallard. The 28 year old forward was widely regarded as the Ballinamallard man of the match in the Irish Cup Final and was so unlucky not to score after a surging run and shot clipped the post. Cashel was our second highest scorer last season with 5 goals and he will hope to add to that tally next season.

"I believe that if Nathan builds on last years experience he can make a real impact in our front line. He has an ability to carry the ball, make things happen in the final third and hopefully he can add a few more goals to his game to help us along" praised Harry McConkey.

"On the downside, unfortunately Robbie Hume will be moving on due to work commitments. It was a frustrating 5 months for him with a persistent back problem which meant that we didn't see the best of him, but we thank him for his efforts and wish him luck in finding a new club closer to home".

Since joining in January, Hume made 10 appearances and netted one goal.
