Limavady 1-2 Ballinamallard

The Mallards made it 5 wins from 6 in December and end 2018 on a positive note with a hard fought win at Limavady.

That result keeps our hopes of reaching the top 6 alive and kicking with both Loughgall and Ballyclare dropping points.

Both sides spurned chances in a scrappy and scoreless first half before Ryan Campbell netted for the fifth consecutive game to put the Mallards ahead.

The lead didn't last long however with Boyle equalising for the Roesiders before Nathan Cashel popped up with what proved to be the winner!

That win moves us into seventh position in the Bluefin Sport Championship, two points behind Loughgall and one ahead of Ballyclare Comrades.

Loughgall travel to Larne for their final pre-split game whilst Ballyclare are home to Portadown and away to Ballinamallard.
