Ballinamallard 1-1 Dundela

Another hard earned point for the Mallards which extends their unbeaten run to 4 games.

The visitors were dominant in the opening stages of the game, enjoying plenty of possession and took the lead on 13 minutes. Daniel Burns cross from the left was converted at close range by striker Carl McComb.

The Duns should have extended their lead but David McMaster shot wide when well placed. As the half wore on the home start started to grow into the game and they equalised on 35. The Belfast side failed to clear Jay McCartney's corner and Joshua McIlwaine stabbed the ball home.

Before half time Harry McConkey's men almost took the lead when Darragh McBrien beat goalkeeper Ryan McBride to a through ball, but he couldn't quite get enough power and the ball was cleared off the goal line - agonisingly close!

The Mallards continued to be on top in the second half but had to rely on John Connolly tipping a low shot onto the post on 75.

Both sides went looking for a winner but couldn't quite find the golden touch and overall a draw was a fair result in this competitive fixture.
