Loughgall 2-2 Ballinamallard

It's taken a while, but we finally have another point on the board!

Harry McConkey's young side have showed great promise at times this season, but also frustrating basic errors which have cost them points; today was no different but with perhaps a wee touch more luck.

Having seen a positive performance mid week away to Crusaders, the Mallards were keen to push on but were fortunate to be only one down within 10 minutes today.

However things started to turn in their favour and just after Ryan O'Reilly had seen his header cleared off the line, Darragh McBrien went one better to equalise with his head.

It was deja vu at the start of the second half however with Loughgall scoring again before a quite splendid own goal set the Mallards level again.

Neither side was keen to settle for a point with McBrien and Campbell going close, whilst at the other end Chris Kelly cleared off the line and Loughgall also hit the post!

A hard point earned and another step closer to where we want to be.
