Ballinamallard 0-1 Knockbreda

It was another afternoon of frustration for Harry McConkey's troops against a resilient, physical and determined Knockbreda.

The home side tried to play their normal passing game but were thwarted at every opportunity with goalkeeper Smyth rarely tested.

Zach Barr netted the only goal of the match on 78 minutes. He and goalkeeper John Connolly, who also had a quiet afternoon, raced towards a through ball with both going to ground. Connolly seemed to have the ball but Barr swiped his leg, made contact with the ball and it trickled over the line - a very scrappy goal.

The home side had numerous corners before full time, but they simply couldn't get past a resolute Breda.
