Dean Corrigan joins Dundee

We are delighted to announce that after a short trial period our Academy player Dean Corrigan has been offered a professional contract with Dundee FC from the Scottish Premiership. Dean will move across to Dundee to begin his full time career at the conclusion of the Super Cup.

Deans father Trevor said “ We are delighted that Dean has been given the opportunity to play for Dundee FC. We would like to thank Ballinamallard Utd & the Coaches for their help & support for Dean over his years at the Club“.

Dean began his time at Ballinamallard as a 5 year old at Mini Soccer. He moved onto our teams in the National League. His talent was quickly spotted by Club NI and he went onto represent his country on many occasions and his County at the Super Cup.

Denzil Mc Daniel who managed and coached Dean as he represented the Club throughout the National League age groups stated “ I am delighted for Dean. He has shown a tremendous attitude and dedication throughout his time with the 2001s. He rarely missed a training session never mind games. I must pay tribute also to his loyalty to the Club & praise his family for their support for him and the team in the correct manner. He was a great leader to the group and we all wish him well.”

Everyone at the Club sends Dean our best wishes. We will follow his progress closely and enjoy his successes over what we hope will be a long and distinguished professional career. Good luck Dean!
