Trio agree deals with Mallards

Manager Harry McConkey has this morning confirmed that he has agreed deals with three new players for the 2018/19 season, all of whom will provide plenty of experience ahead of what is sure to be a difficult campaign.

Goalkeeper John Connolly has an extensive playing career both North and South of the border, and most recently was on the books of Portadown FC. John had hoped to spearhead their return to the Irish Premier League but unfortunately suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon at the start of the season and has been on the road to recovery ever since. Despite that set back, John is fighting fit again and excited to link up with Harry and Ballinamallard.

Midfielder Duwayne McManus is no stranger to Ferney Park having come through our Youth ranks and also featured for the first team over various spells. The 31 year old Enniskillen man has plenty of experience at both Championship and Premier League level and is as determined as ever to help the Mallards regain their Senior status.

Finally striker Warner Mullen re-joins the Club having most recently spent the second half of the 2016/17 season at Ferney Park. Mullen certainly knows where the net is at Championship level and was part of McConkey's Umbro Quadrangular International Cup winning side.

Best wishes to all three for the upcoming season!
