Top versus bottom turned out as many predicted, with Oran Kearney's men chalking up another win.

The Bannsiders deserved the win, but the Mallards will have been disappointed not to have made more of the game with the score remaining 1-0 for the majority of the match.

Ian Parkhill scored the opener mid way through the first half with Richard Brush also denying Jamie McGonigle on several occasions.

The Mallards performed better after the break with Curran wasting two of our better chances before Brad Lyons finished off a fine counter attack with 10 minutes remaining to secure victory for Coleraine.

Our reserves picked up a point away to Coleraine with a 3-3 draw. Quinn, McCrea and Coalter with our goals.
