Ballinamallard 1-1 Warrenpoint

Both sides had to settle for a point apiece in this battle at Ferney Park. Neither side showed any nerves as they both went for victory, although it remained goalless at half time.

The home side started the second half brightly and Shane McGinty fired them infront, capitalising after goalkeeper Turker dropped a Niall Owens cross.

The Mallards searched for a second, however the turning point in the game arrived with 20 minutes left when Richard Clarke was given his marching orders for two yellow cards in quick succession.

Darren Murray smashed the point level with a well worked corner and they then took the ascendancy, but Ballinamallard showed great determination to eek out a point and move closer to Carrick Rangers, who are 4 ahead having played a game less.
