Ballinamallard 3-0 Dundela

Ballinamallard progressed into Round 3 of the NIFL Cup, with a home victory over East Belfast side Dundela.

The home side dominated the majority of the first half with Taheny & Armstrong going close before Ryan Mayse scored with his third attempt after his initial 2 shots were blocked. Matty Burrows went closest for Dundela when he hit the crossbar from close range.

Jason McCartney added a fantastic goal in the second half, taking Lafferty's knockdown, chipping over the defender and volleying into the top right hand corner. Lafferty then scored the third, tapping in after goalkeeper Sergeant parried Ryan Mayse shot. Best wishes to Dundela for the season ahead and safe travels.
