Ballinamallard 1-2 Cliftonville

Cliftonville were victors yet again over Ballinamallard, who played the majority of the game with 10 men.

The turning point in the game came in the first half when Liam Flatley was red carded by referee Keith Kennedy for what he deemed as a late challenge, when it appeared that the winger had in fact slipped when making the challenge.

Darren Murray fired in the opener minutes later, however there were suspicions of offside but Adam Lecky equalised on the stroke of half time after goalkeeper Mooney failed to hold a cross.

Cliftonville regained the lead in the second half when Chris Curran's cross from the right was deflected past James McGrath by the unfortunate Ryan McConnell.

The Mallards had the chance to draw level however before the end of the game, when Adam Lecky was fouled and a penalty was awarded, but Jason McCartney stroked it wide.

Next up is Dundela at home on Tuesday evening in the League Cup.
