Tony Kane's second half penalty condemned Ballinamallard to their third defeat of the season.

In truth, the visitors were by far the dominant side and looked sharper than the Mallards in just about every department.

The game was 0-0 at half time but a long clearance from Reece Glendinning wasn't dealt with by the home defence, with goalkeeper James McGrath eventually committing a foul which led to the penalty.

Elsewhere, the U20 development team also tasted their third defeat in a row, with a 2-1 loss away to Ballymena.
