Ballinamallard United FC are now seeking applicants for the position of Head Coach.
Job specification
Essential criteria
The applicant must hold a minimum of a UEFA ‘A’ coaching licence, or any valid foreign coaching licence which is equivalent to this one and recognised by the IFA as such.
The applicant must have managed at intermediate level or above in Northern Ireland, or the equivalent outside of Northern Ireland
Desirable criteria
It is desirable that the applicant holds a UEFA ‘Pro’ coaching licence, or any valid non-UEFA coaching diploma which us equivalent to the UEFA Pro coaching diploma and recognised by UEFA as such; or have already started and attended the first part of the UEFA Pro coaching licence and is working towards completion in a reasonable time frame.
It is desirable that the applicant has experience as a Head Coach or Assistant Head Coach in the top two tiers of Irish League football, or equivalent, within the past 5 years
Role of the Head Coach
To be responsible for first team selection, tactics and management;
To liaise with the coach of the club’s team in the new NIFL Development League;
To liaise with the club’s Academy Director on the progression of young players towards senior football;
To liaise with club officials on matters such as player registration / contracts, disciplinary procedures etc.
To fulfil media obligations
