Tyrone came out on top in the Fermanagh Tyrone derby at Stangmore Park on Saturday. A goal in each half helped Dungannon to secure a straightforward victory against a lacklustre Ballinamallard who struggled all afternoon.
The home side took the lead on 27 minutes when Ally Taggart slotted in from close range after a defensive mistake.
Ryan Harpur made it 2-0 after the break when he again slotted in from close range after Douglas Wilson's free kick had been deflected.
That result means that the teams switch positions in the league, with the Mallards dropping to tenth and one point ahead of Warrenpoint Town.
Elsewhere, the Seconds drew 1-1 with Dungannon whilst the Thirds remain top of the IFA Youth League (Section B) after a 7-0 away win against Carniny.
