Noel Mitchell returns to Coagh

First team coach Noel Mitchell has returned to Coagh United after a short stint with Ballinamallard.

Mitchell has a long association with Coagh having managed them for 17 years, but he linked up with Whitey Anderson this summer for a crack at Premier League football.

However with Coagh currently sitting second bottom of Championship two, and with possible relegation out of the Irish League altogether, Mitchell felt compelled to return to his hometown club.

"I would like to thank Noel and wish him all the best for the future" commented Anderson. "He is without doubt one of the best coaches I have worked with and perhaps the number one. The players and myself are disappointed by Noel's move, but we fully respect and understand it given his long association with Coagh over the years. Coagh are looking to retain their Irish League status and there is no better man than Noel to help them achieve that aim".
