Luke Henderson - Greg Turley memorial cup

Many congratulations to Luke Henderson who was last night awarded the most highly regarded individual youth award at the club, the Greg Turley Memorial Cup.

Luke was announced by Mervyn Smyth as the player who has come through the full youth system at the club demonstrating all the great qualities of player development both on and off the pitch that were espoused by the late Greg Turley.

17 year-old Luke is a son of former Mallard Ian Henderson and his wife Julie, and his highlights as a youth player at Ballinamallard go back to being part of mini soccer trophy winning teams at the Foyle Cup and the Brendan Keogh Youth League Blitz, winning the full set of BKYL league and cup titles from U13 to U16, playing throughout the National Youth League, earning selection to the Fermanagh Milk Cup Junior squad, and winning this season's Player of the Year for the U18B team in the Mid Ulster Juvenile League. Well done Luke!
