Adam Lecky becomes a Mallard
Ballinamallard can confirm that Adam Lecky has signed a contract with the club, joining from Championship One side Dergview.
6'5" Adam has been a top performer for the 'Derg over a number of seasons and has been under the watchful eye of Whitey Anderson on more than one occasion.
"Adam is a player I have watched and admired for some time,” said Anderson. “Having observed him playing this season for Dergview on three occassions I have no doubt that he can step up to the plate and play Premier League football."
“He will add a new different dimension to our play and we have serious competition for places in the midfield area. I will also be looking at Adam as a possible cover at centre half. Its a position I believe he could play."
Adam is a brother of Richard Lecky who was part of the 2013/14 Ballinamallard side that finished tenth in the league, and becomes the sixth signing this summer.
We would like to wish Adam the best of luck for the season ahead.
