Ballinamallard 4-1 Carrick

Ballinamallard ended the 2016/17 season on a high with their tenth victory of the season. The opening goal came early in the game when Daniel Larmour fouled Gary Armstrong, and Ryan Mayse dispatched the penalty. Mayse added a second with a fine finish after collecting an Owens cross, as he hunted down Adam Lecky for the leading goalscorer award. Carrick replied with a Daniel Kelly header but the advantage was restored before half time with Ryan Curran scoring. Ryan Morris headed in a fourth whilst Mayse went close to adding another whilst Carrick hit the bar through Kyle McVey.

Ballinamallard 2-3 Ards

Ballinamallard fell to another defeat on Friday night, with Ards scoring a last minute winner. Matthew Shevlin gave Ards the lead in the second half, before Gary Armstrong volleyed in an equaliser. Ards scored again through Kyle Cherry before Colm McLaughlin headed in after Ryan Curran had hit the bar. However in the final minute Michael Ruddy headed past Cameron Crawford to give Ards victory.

Ballinamallard 1-4 Dungannon

Dungannon eased past Ballinamallard at Ferney Park on Easter Tuesday. Boss Gavin Dykes made several changes with Premier League survival assured and there were plenty of goals in the first half. Ryan Harpur headed the Swifts into the lead before Warner Mullan replied with his first goal for the club. Andrew Mitchell added two more goals before half time and Dougie Wilson headed in a fourth late in the game. Ryan Curran did hit the post for Ballinamallard, but it was a deserved victory for the Tyrone men.

Portadown 1-0 Ballinamallard

Portadown gained a third victory over Ballinamallard on Friday evening to help keep their slim relegation hopes alive. For Ballinamallard, despite the loss, Saturday's results mean that they are now safe from relegation with 3 games remaining. Stuart Hutchinson hit the bar for the Mallards whilst Curran, McGinty and Mayse all went close to opening the scoring. Ross Larkin gave Portadown an early second half lead, prodding in at the near post, and despite a siege from Ballinamallard they couldn't find a goal.

Ballinamallard 3-0 Glentoran

The Mallards remain unbeaten against Glentoran in all 4 Premier League games this season, with a third victory at Ferney Park this afternoon. After the match Dykes hailed his players as being 'fantastic to a man' and credited a 'huge win after 5 defeats on the bounce'. It was Glentoran however who thought they had taken the lead after just 2 minutes but mid celebration, the referee consulted his assistant who ruled that the goalscorer Curtis Allen was in an offside position. On 17 minutes the home side took the lead, when Ryan Mayse deflected Ryan Curran's shot past Elliott Morris for eighth of the season, and he is now just 3 goals off equaling Adam Lecky.
