Fashion Show & Calendar Launch

Ballinamallard United Football Club has produced its first football player's calendar which will officially launch at a Club Fashion Show held in the award winning Manor House Hotel on the 29th November. The calendar, based on the `Calendar Girls` template, has been produced locally and involves team management, backroom staff and players and is available for sale at £10. The production of the calendar and fashion show has been led by the Ladies Committee of the club. Ballinamallard Club Chairman Jeff Aiken commented on the calendar “I congratulate our Ladies Committee, under the leadership of Helen Hurst, Gavin Dykes, his backroom team and of course the players for their support for this ve

Coleraine 3-1 Ballinamallard

It was another hard luck story for Ballinamallard on Saturday past, as they fell to their seventh straight defeat. Things were looking up early in the game at the Showgrounds when Shane McGinty netted for the Ducks, but Jordan Allan equalised before half time. Substitute James McLaughlin put the Bannsiders ahead in the second half, before Johnny Lafferty hit the post with a long range drive. McCafferty added a gloss to the scoreline with a last minute penalty, after Allan was fouled by Liam McMenamin.

Cliftonville 1-0 Ballinamallard

David McDaid's 95th minute winner provided heart break for Gavin Dykes and Ballinamallard as they succumbed to another defeat. Just as it looked that the Mallards would head home with a well earned and deserved point, the diminutive striker created a yard and chipped the ball over the outcoming McGrath. In truth, the game was a rather dour affair, devoid of chances for either side. Elsewhere, the U20s were defeated 3-1 by the same opponents. Conall Quinn was our only scorer.

Ballinamallard 1-3 Carrick Rangers

Two Tiarnan McNicholl goals helped Carrick Rangers to a crucial victory over Ballinamallard United in this Friday night encounter at Ferney Park. The win, only Carrick's second this season, brings Aaron Callaghan's side to within three points of the Mallards, who have now lost five on the bounce. But despite the eventual outcome, Gavin Dykes' men moved in front on 42 minutes after firing past 'keeper Brian Neeson from around six yards out after being teed up by Adam Lecky. Rangers levelled before the break, however, when McNicholl grabbed his first of the evening with a strong finish beyond James McGrath after racing clear. And McNicholl struck again just after the hour when he burst through
